Yes. The Drop carries a $2M general liability policy. We furnish a Certificate of Insurance to any venue or planner within 24 hours of request, with additional insured language added when required.

A resident DJ controls the arc of the night — pace, energy, song selection — while live musicians (saxophone, percussion, vocals) play on top of the mix in real time. The musicians read the room and lean in for peak moments, then pull back when the DJ is steering. No karaoke covers, no awkward handoffs.

All three. We arrive early, set up two zones if needed, and handle every transition — processional, recessional, cocktail underscore, grand entrance, dinner, dance. One vendor, one sound, one stitched-together night.

Optional and built into Tier 02 and Tier 03. Our vocalist or DJ handles introductions, toasts, first dance, and any structured moments. We rehearse pronunciations and read the room — never theatrical, never cringe.

From you, yes — exhaustively, before the event. From your guests on the night, only if it serves the floor and only with your sign-off. We do not take requests that would derail the arc you and we built together.

Frequently. We've delivered events across NC, SC, VA, GA, DC, and as far as the West Coast for residencies. Travel is quoted transparently — flights, ground, gear shipping, lodging — never marked up.

Concert-grade powered systems sized to the room — JBL VRX, RCF NX, or line-array depending on scale. Dance lighting on truss; uplighting on Tier 02+. Tier 03 unlocks intelligent fixtures and lighting design. Full equipment list available in the tech rider.

For weddings, 9–14 months is typical. For corporate, 3–6 months. Peak dates (May, October, December) fill 18 months out. We hold a small block of last-minute slots each quarter — ask.
